Who We Are:ProForge is a company born from a passion for the martial arts and a fascination with blades of all types. Our entire staff is comprised of martial artists and collectors who are devoted to the practice and development of the martial arts. As such, our goal is to provide our customers with the highest quality functional blades and supplies, at the best prices, with exceptional customer service. Our Guiding Principles1) Form should follow function: Simply put, blades and armour are tools created to perform a task, and so their function is paramount. 2) Value is high quality at a reasonable price: Let's face it, you get what you pay for. High quality comes at a higher price, but overcharging is just bad business. We want to give you the value you deserve. 3) Ethics are more important than profits: At the end of the day, we need to feel good about what we do and know that we have provided a valuable service to others. Sure, we need to make a living, but we believe that by following a strict ethical code, we will make our customers happy, and they will return to us again and again. We want to be your blade source today and into the future. Our GuaranteeWe at ProForge are truly interested in your complete satisfaction with your purchase, and we will make every reasonable effort to accomodate returns under our guidelines. We have found it necessary to create these guidelines to prevent the irresponsible purchasing and returning of products for the purpose of simply trying them out. All ProForge merchandise is guaranteed to be true to description and in good condition. Any natural or hand-made products may have inherent variations in color, grain, size, and presentation. These variations are not flaws but are individual traits which add character to each piece, and exist due to the nature of our products. Transportation DamageIf your package appears to be damaged in transport when you receive it, be sure to note this on the bill of lading/shipping receipt and have the driver initial or sign it. This is very important for transport damage claims. Next, report it to the carrier directly and immediately. The carrier will then give you instructions on how to proceed. Transport damage is beyond our control. ProForge is not responsible for transport damage. Do not ship the product back to Ultimate Edge because the carrier will not honor the claim if the item has been reshipped. Product IssuesProForge has every item inspected and makes every possible effort to ensure your purchase arrives to you free from defects in workmanship and materials. Please be sure to inspect your product upon delivery for any defects in workmanship and materials. Any defects must be reported to ProForge within seven (7) days of delivery, and product returned to ProForge within 28 days of delivery in the original packaging and unused, in order to receive an exchange. Please contact us for assistance prior to returning any product. Other ReturnsAny unwanted items may be returned at your expense (including the cost of the initial shipping that we may have given you for free), and you will incur a restocking fee which may be as high as 50% of the purchase price, depending on our management's and manufacturer's discretion. Please understand that we have arrangements with manufacturers the obligate us to meeting these expenses. We will make every effort to keep these costs as low as possible for you. Return requests must be submitted to us no later than seven days from date of delivery to you. Returned products must be received within 28 days of delivery to you, in the original packaging and condition, unused. Custom orders or discontinued items may not be returned for any reason. Please contact us for authorization prior to returning any merchandise. We will make every effort to resolve any issues to your satisfaction. Disclaimer, Liability Waiver, Indemnity AgreementBy purchasing any items sold by ProForge Knives, the buyer expressly warrants the he/she is in compliance with all Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations reguarding the purchase, ownership, and use of the item. It is the buyer's responsibility to comply with all Federal, State, and Local laws governing the sale of any items listed, illustrated, or sold. The buyer expressly agrees to indemnify and hold harmless ProForge Knives, and all of it's officers, for all claims resulting directly or indirectly from the purchase, ownership, or use of the item in violation of applicable Federal, State, and Local laws or regulations.
